What about Clear Path is Different?
I’ve never been one to step into something I didn’t feel a calling towards. My desire to work with seniors stemmed from my relationship with my grandparents. After college, I moved back home to the Chicagoland area and felt an urgency to spend time with my grandparents so I started visiting them weekly, in their home. My grandpa’s dementia progressed to the point of minimal conversation but I knew my grandma loved the company and the chance to talk.
A few months later, my grandpa’s dementia progressed further. He was frequently falling and since my grandma was his only caregiver, our family was concerned. We were able to convince her to move him to a nursing home. Quickly after his move she herself became ill. Since my grandmother was my grandfather’s caregiver, she neglected to get the help that she herself needed
Why we’re different:

I wish had known about the endless resources available to my grandparents to help promote their quality of life and take care of them both. This job gives me the opportunity to be proactive in helping families and their loved ones find a safe and supportive environment where their quality of life is the highest goal.

I was fortunate to spend the time with my grandparents and saw it as a necessity in growing our relationship. Our goal is to help you and your loved one from the beginning of the process to the end. We recognize that we are better together.

I knew my grandpa loved Hawaiian music, so we would play it any chance we got. Any way that we can help personalize this experience and help you create home, we want to do that for your loved one.
